I love to run.
I feel like it's a drug and I can't wait to get my next fix.

Sprinting up hills makes my day ;)

I'd like to think I'm tough as nails, but don't we all?

Right now I'm on a marathon kick, I'm always looking for some kind of race. Recently I've gotten into triathlons, that's what I'll be chasing next.

Chrissie Wellington and Kara Goucher are my heroes <3

After a year of injuries in 2011 and finally recovering, I decided to take the leap and become a Personal Trainer. There's nothing more important to me than fitness and health. I would love nothing more than to achieve my goals and help others reach their maximum potential and achieve theirs as well.

My ultamite goal is to do an Ironman.

A whirlwind of things!

I have been so busy working I have not had a moment to get on.

School is awesome. Work is awesome, I only wish my hours were different.

Today I went into class to hear “Today you are designing a training program for someone that wants to do a 5K, 10K, or marathon. You pick!” This was all too easy seeing as I’m 12 weeks away from a half marathon! It baffled me to see so many people struggling to create one. I suppose I have quite a bit of experience running races and training for them, but I was still a bit taken back by this.

I finally decided I would have to train during lunch and before school, as well as the weekends. It’s the only free time I have at the moment. Looking forward to getting in the 50s this week!

My diet has been perfect for the most part. I leave my house at 7am and don’t get home until midnight so I only have what I take for work and school. This has cut down on lots of snacking and I tend to make better choices in the morning as far as food is concerned anyway.

I’ll make it a thing to post my daily training sessions! Today is Monday and a rest day, I’m sure no one needs details about that ;)
