I love to run.
I feel like it's a drug and I can't wait to get my next fix.
Sprinting up hills makes my day ;)
I'd like to think I'm tough as nails, but don't we all?
Right now I'm on a marathon kick, I'm always looking for some kind of race. Recently I've gotten into triathlons, that's what I'll be chasing next.
Chrissie Wellington and Kara Goucher are my heroes <3
After a year of injuries in 2011 and finally recovering, I decided to take the leap and become a Personal Trainer. There's nothing more important to me than fitness and health. I would love nothing more than to achieve my goals and help others reach their maximum potential and achieve theirs as well.
My ultamite goal is to do an Ironman.

We were learning how to take heart rates and blood pressure.
We took them resting. Had to break off into two groups. As a group we came up with a 5 minute warm up, 15 minute work out, and 5 minute cool down. Half of each split group had to be the ‘trainer’ then the other half the ‘client.’
For 15 minutes out workout was brutal, we did circuits. There were 5 stations, you spent 1 minute at each station, and went through them all 3 times. If I remember right our workout was: jackhammers, lunge lunge squat, pushups on bosue ball with knee twist, resistance band walks (which I thought of and kills people!), and something else I forgot the name of.
After the work out we took blood pressures again, then once more after the cool down and 1 minute of rest.
It’s cool being able to correct people’s form and motivate each other.
I’m apparently the lunge queen, I have perfect form every time. I do LOVE them and do them religiously so I better have good form by now lol. I really need to work on pushups daily though.
After that it was classwork, alllllll about Anatomy <3
I love anatomy. There is nothing more beautiful than an anatomical heart.
I also need to figure out working out on my own. I don’t do nearly as much after classes, so I need to find a way to motivate myself to wake up earlier and run, even if it’s just an easy 5 miles, better than nothing.
